Two short setup steps. Most operators complete both in under 10 minutes.

## Step 1 — Connect your Google Calendar

What you'll do:
1. Click the connect link in your welcome email
2. Pick the Google account that owns your business calendar
3. Bypass the "Google hasn't verified this app" warning (we're in Google's verification queue — see the guide for the exact two clicks)
4. Review the two Calendar permissions Sara needs (see + edit events on calendars you can access — *nothing else*)
5. Click Continue. You're done.

## Step 2 — Forward your business line

What you'll do — depends on your carrier:

- **Verizon Wireless:** `*72` + your Regulance number + Call
- **AT&T / T-Mobile:** `**21*` + your Regulance number + `#` + Call
- **Spectrum / Comcast Business:** toggle "Always Forward" in voice portal
- **RingCentral / OpenPhone / Dialpad:** call-handling settings → forward to your Regulance number
- **Google Voice:** linked numbers → add Regulance number → set as forwarding destination
- **Landline:** `*72` from your business phone, or call your carrier

Reversible at any time. Every carrier has a cancel code (usually `*73`).

## After both steps

- Your AI receptionist is **live**. Test it by calling your business line from a different phone.
- You'll get a morning summary at 7 AM Pacific each weekday with every call from the previous day.
- Emergency calls are escalated to your phone via SMS in real time.
- Sunday evening you'll receive the weekly performance digest by email.

## Common questions

**Will outbound calls still show my business number?**
Yes. Forwarding only redirects incoming calls.

**Can I turn forwarding off?**
Any time, instantly, with the cancel code on your carrier. You don't need to tell us first.

**Does it cost extra from my carrier?**
On 99% of US plans, no. A few legacy landline plans charge $3-5/month for advanced calling features.

**Should I forward 24/7 or just after-hours?**
Most operators forward 24/7. The value is in answering every call — including the ones missed during business hours when you're on a job. After-hours-only is supported on cable/VoIP portals with time-of-day routing.

**What if a regular customer needs to reach me directly?**
Sara collects the caller's name, number, and reason. For urgent calls asking for you by name, she pages you on SMS in real time. For non-urgent, you get them in the morning summary.
